The self-catering property Cooinbil River Chalet for up to three couples is managed by Wayne & Monica Cooper who also own & operate RoosterHill Guesthouse which is designed for one couple only at a time..

Cooinbil is a situated just 15 minutes from RoosterHill and on the Sydney side of Oberon. The property has an 800 metre frontage to the Duckmaloi River with your own private access to trout fishing (in season) and platypus watching.

Private self-contained accommodation for up to three couples in queen accommodation is provided with full catering facilities including BBQ. The solar and wind powered Chalet is perfect for a carbon free fishing trip or chill weekend.

Magnificent views, abundant wildlife encounters in the peace and quiet of The Tablelands Way experience right in the heart of Oberon, the home of Jenolan Caves, Kanangra-Boyd, Blue Mountains and Abercrombie River National Parks offers the promise of simple pleasures, perfect for that special get-a-way.

Cooinbil is the original home of Paul and Catherine Fox of Fox’s Furniture Gallery Bathurst, suppliers to Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa. G E T T I N G T H E R E

From Sydney, follow the Great Western Highway to Hartley and just after the speed camera turn left onto Jenolan Caves Road. Follow this road past the village of Hampton and turn right at Millionth Acre to Oberon on Duckmaloi Road. Proceed for 18km and then turn left at Ferndale Road at the For Sale sign for Cooinbil and follow the signs to Cooinbil at 285 Ferndale Road.

From Oberon, follow the Sydney Road for 7 km and at the first overtaking lane turn right at Ferndale Road and follow the signs to Cooinbil at 285 Ferndale Road.

You will be met on arrival by prior arrangement by either Wayne or Monica who will explain the features of the property to you in person. They will also be available should you require any assistance during your stay.

T A R I F F A N D C O N D I T I O N S

Tariff for up to three couples is $550 for a normal weekend or $450 for two days mid week (Sunday to Thursday) (incl GST).

Long weekend, longer stay or corporate packages by arrangement
Special requirements for food on arrival or during your stay can be catered for by prior arrangement
We accept MasterCard/Visa as well as AMEX and Diners which attract a fee
50% deposit may be required on booking
Deposit may be forfeited in the event of a cancellation within 7 days of planned arrival date
Any damage to property must be paid for
Other conditions are set out on your booking confirmation
